Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. <\/strong><\/span>Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.<\/span> <\/strong>Ephesians 3:19-20 (NLT)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\nThe thief\u2019s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.<\/span> <\/strong>John 10:10 (NLT)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n1.\u00a0 According to the words of Jesus Christ in John 10:10, what was the purpose of Christ’s ministry on the the earth? <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n2.\u00a0 What does that say about your level of satisfaction without Jesus in your life as your friend?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n3.\u00a0 What is Jesus saying (John 15:14) we need to do to be His friend?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n4.\u00a0 What are you doing in your life that Christ might agree promotes friendship between the two of you?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n5.\u00a0 What would you say tends to get in the way of having a quality friendship kind of relationship with Christ?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n6.\u00a0 What are you sowing, or investing in, these days that God finds favor with that will reap a satisfying return from your investment?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n7.\u00a0 What might you be investing in these days that you have a feeling in your heart and mind might be counter-productive to the satisfactory purpose of God for you?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n8.\u00a0 What would you say the investment strategy is for attaining satisfaction in your life, today?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n9.\u00a0 How would you define or describe joy? How important is that to you in the context of all that is the complexities of your life? Explain.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\nNow, please take some time to talk to your friend Jesus. Let Him know that the friendship you share with Him is necessary and indeed important to you. Ask Jesus for revelation to know His will for you; that He will direct you to Scripture that removes the veil from the eyes of your heart and mind so that you can more clearly see Him. Ask God to empower you to grow in faith and confidence to act on His intentions for your life. Ask God to empower you to do what He wants for you to do for your good so that you may experience all that He wants and has for you—beyond what you could imagine or would dare to ask.
