The following questions are the application portion following up on the questions from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.freedomfrommedom.com\/member\/lessons\/twirl-003-72610\" target=\"_blank\">TWIRL 003<\/a> based on the FFM Series article, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.freedomfrommedom.com\/wp3\/believe\/sympathetic-savior\" target=\"_blank\">Sympathetic Savior&#8230; Christ&#8217;s Humanity<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Apostle Paul instructs us to &#8220;imitate Christ&#8221; who humbled himself and became nothing. What did that mean for him? What does that mean for you?<\/li>\n<li>How were the desires and intentions of human Jesus similar to your desires and intentions? How were they different?<\/li>\n<li>Whether or not we agree that Jesus could sin, Scripture is definite that Jesus while\u00a0human did not in fact sin, he was in fact tempted to sin? How would you say the temptations of Jesus were similar as a human being to the temptations you face? How were they different?<\/li>\n<li>Identify your experiences that render life difficult for you\u00a0in the areas of:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">-Disappointment<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">-Fear<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">-Anger<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">-Frustration<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">-Resentment<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">-Failure<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">-Betrayal<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">-Rejection<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">-Misunderstood<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">-Grief<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">-Sadness<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">-Depression<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">-Desperation<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">-Abandonment<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">-Fatigue<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">-Anxiety &amp; Stress<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">-Illness<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">-Confusion<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">-Relationships<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">-Dissatisfaction<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">-Pain<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">-Struggle<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Go through your list and\u00a0examine how\u00a0the experiences of\u00a0human Jesus resemble your experiences in those areas and how his experiences contrast with yours.<\/li>\n<li>Having\u00a0made these comparisons, how might you say that Jesus,\u00a0today at the throne of grace, can sympathize with you?<\/li>\n<li>Considering the compassionate merciful grace of Jesus Christ, our Sympathetic Savior,\u00a0how might He advocate for you, and fight for you?<\/li>\n<li>How might this\u00a0enhance your perception of God in terms of quality of relationship with Him?<\/li>\n<li>What will you do today to engage the reality of the Sympathetic Savior in\u00a0how you think and function in your circumstances and relationships?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Take some time now and talk to\u00a0God\u00a0who knows you and loves you. Tell Him about the specifics in your life, and ask Him to empower you with the same power that raised Jesus from the dead and above His human weakness during His time on earth.
